Marcia Groff has worked in many facets of the
entertainment industry. She first honed her skills at EMI America Records. As National
Coordinator of Artist Development, she worked closely with Kenny Rogers, Kim
Carnes, Sir Cliff Richard, The Stray Cats, Dottie West and Robert John.
Following her stint with the record
label she joined forces with various public relation firms whose diverse client
rosters included Bob Hope, Barbara Eden, Julie Andrews, Blake Edwards, Roberto
Duran, Al Jarreau and Harold Robbins.
Production accounts included TNT's "Kissinger/Nixon:Peace at Hand,"
Prime's 30th Annual "Victor Awards," the "Mrs. America" pageant, and PBS'
"Kratt's Creatures" and "Katie and Orbie," narrated by Leslie Nielsen.
In the early 1990's, Marcia founded
Entertainment Enterprises which serves as a public relations, management and
production company. Clients include award winning country artists Rosie Flores
and Katy Moffatt, Grammy award winner Janice-Marie (A Taste of Honey) and The
Stella Adler Theatre, Hollywood. Award winning filmmakers include Tane McClure
and Tyke Caravelli of New Legend Films (Trance); Andre Champagne and Alan
Bernhoft (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Rock N' Roll Musical) and Allan Rich and
Peter Antico (Newton's Law), founders of We Care About Kids. Film festivals
include The Backlot in Culver City and Larry Hankin's 10 Funny Fables+1.
Special projects have
included Earth Day International, The March of Dimes Telethon and the 2000
Stella Adler Awards honoring Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith and James
Coburn.
After working
as an associate producer for Public Broadcast Television and Capitol Records on
"Dave Koz:Off the Beaten Path," she was asked by Capitol Records to create a
national public relations campaign for the debut of Robbie Robertson's PBS
television special, "Making A Noise: A Native American Musical Journey."
Additional producer credits include the
1994-1996 "Feather Awards," which honors ballroom dancers. Cable and
syndication credits include "Red Cross Across America," "A Christmas Card From
Branson," "Branson USA Flood Relief Campaign," and Discovery's Channel's award
winning series, "Hollywood Chronicles," hosted by Jackie Cooper. Network
writing assignments have included CBS's "Miss Universe," "Miss USA" and Ms.
Teen USA." Talent Executive credits include TNN's "Home For The Holidays,"
Encore Channel's "The Sixties," Discovery's "Hollywood Christmas Story," with
Rosemary Clooney, "The Hollywood Dinosaur Chronicles," hosted by Doug McClure
and the Cable Ace nominated series "The Edge and Beyond," hosted by James
Coburn. Recent film and television production credits, in association with New
Legend Films, include "The Eye of Dan" and "Real Reel West." Public
Speaking engagements have included the
Music and Writers Workshop, Storywork Entertainment's Navigating Hollywood, and
